    Thanks 45, I,ll try the thermistor.
    Also how does one reset the machine size when changing the motor module on this machine. It has a red/brown board. Display panel has text display ?

    Re: Fisher & Paykel Intuitive, Fault code 37

    Dear guest,

    There is a procedure for getting the fault codes on a 703.

    With the machine off, (power on at the wall) press the wash temperature down button, and then the power button. all the lights will come on for a brief period. when they go off, press the spin speen up button 3 times. ( The hold and slow spin leds should both be on). The machine is now in binary fault readout mode.

    The fault codes can now be read by looking at the top row of led’s i.e spin, final rinse wash etc.

    Reading from right to left they have the following values.
    Spin = 1
    Final rinse = 2
    Rinse = 4
    3 min wash. = 8
    6 min wash = 16
    9 min wash =32
    12 min =64
    15 min = 128

    So for example if the spin light , the rinse light, and the 9 min wash light were on , and all the other lights off, that would mean a fault code of 37.

    Once you have the fault code you would need to refer to the service manual (or some-one on line) to see what that refers to.

    To return to normal operation, press the power button again.

    Hope this is of assitstance

    Regards Binks.

    Re: Fisher & Paykel Intuitive, Fault code 37

    Thank’s for your prompt reply, turns out problem is a 2 way diverter valve
    located after the pump on this model. Water is either pumped out, or recirculated back into the bowl. The valve operates via a wax- melt type
    piston. The problem was a breakage in the linkage between the piston and the diverter lever. The whole set up is very flimsy and bound to cause ongoing problems in this series.

    Regards

    P.S Are the fault codes on the intuitive series the same as on smart drive machines.
