Re: BEKO D533 – Main oven not working

Just thought I’d post back to say thanks for your help kwatt. Item arrived today, fitted in just a few minutes and oven now works perfectly.

For anyone else who comes across this thread with the same issues:
    1) Order the part in the kwatts link above
    2) Turn off power source and disconnect cables from rear of cooker.
    3) Remove rear panel with phillips head screwdriver
    4) Locate connection on right hand side, mid way down the unit (two white wires leading to the part identical to the one you’ve purchased)
    5) Unscrew the old thermostat and remove wires one connector at a time, making sure you connect them the exact way they come off.
    6) Attach new thermostat. Reattach rear.
    7) Screw wires back in, making sure the copper links are attached soundly.
8.) Turn on plug and oven
    9) Profit

    K.

Thanks kwatt. I’ve had the rear of the cooker off and thought it may have been one of these (there seems to be 2. One leading to 2 red wires and the other to 2 whites). Considering how cheap they are it’s well worth a punt just to eliminate it from the problem.

    Thanks again.

Re: BEKO D533 – Main oven not working

Hi. Really sorry to drag up an old thread, but whilst searching for an issue I have with my cooker Google brought me directly to this thread, as I am having the exact same issues as lozza69er and the OP, on the same make and model. I was wondering whether anyone knew what the item that lozza69er replaced was? I’m guessing that it was some kind of internal thermal fuse, but wanted to make sure.

Seeing that lozza69er has only posted the 3 posts above, it’s unlikely that he/she is an active user, but maybe one of you other guys has an idea.

    Thanks in advance.
