ParticipantRe: video on how to replace a drain pump…where is it!
Martin thanks so much, my machine is now working and currently washing the stack of towels I had to mop the kitchen flood up with earlier lol one of the pipes hadn’t been fitted on again properly, you hit the nail on the head! before I posted on the forum earlier today, the machine was going off to the tip, but thanks so much for taking the time to reply to me, you saved me buying a new machine or paying for it to be mended…….this forum has been amazing, broken machine to fully mended in a day and it cost me about £12 for a new pump……..I’m very very very happy 🙂

thanks for the link kwatt, we got to the pump and thought we had replaced it ok! but just put the machine on a rinse and drain cycle and my kitchen is covered with water! my oh thinks he may have broken something when he took the old pump out, he said it felt like something broke when he pulled the pump out and when he put the new pump in it didn’t feel like it was fitted as snug as before!!!!

the drain hose and sink spigot are clear so I guess it needs a new pump! is it possible to order and fit a new pump myself or is it a professional only job?

thanks for the reply captaincaveman…… Sorry to be slightly thick here but……I think I have only checked the filter, I opened a door on the bottom right of the front of the machine and drained the machine with the little hose then checked the filter next to it? how would I know if it’s the pump that’s broken?
I’ll go and check the sump hose now 🙂
