Oh gosh sorry mean to say that and forgot in my rambling text, we do about 1 every day, I’d say an average of 5 per week, weirdly just tried the machine again and it worked fine! no noise from the spin. Checked filter and found a small piece of plastic, looks like part of the filter but that I don’t think it could have made the noise we heard for the past week. Am testing another wash.
Sorry I hope I haven’t wasted time with this post, I’ve been researching new washing machines for the past 2 hours too!boomish

Thanks for the quick reply Don,
after the last engineer told us how vulnerable the machine was and gave us a some good advice on how to look after it, we have been very careful not to overload it, we also run a service wash once a month with the occasional Calgon tablet, regularly clean the filter and leave the door open to stop any bacteria. He replaced the Tub assembly, heating element, pully kit, and new rubber. My wife’s shocked it’s lasted so little. It’s operates quite smoothly but the noise is increasing on the spin, so I presume this is bearing again.
After reading through the forums and the UKWG notice on sealed drums it’s either spend cash on a Meile or save and chance a Beko, as our dishwasher just went I think we may get a 2 year guaranteed Beko..
Appreciate the advice -
