Re: Hotpoint Fridge/Freezer Module PCB control units.

I have fitted a new Pcb control module, the supplyer assures me it is configured.

Everything checks out.

Compressor runs independantly, Fan is OK, Diverter valve has continuity, Thermal fuse OK, Heater elements OK, all 4 thermistors are around 14 KOhms at 20degrees C. If I warm them they all reduce in Resistance type NTC, I have 240 Volts AC 50Hz onto the Pcb. But the green mains Led does not light up or any of the Red warning lights.

If i remove the 6 pins connector at the Thyristor end of the Pcb and reconnect, the Green Led mains on indicator and the Red defrost Led ‘blink’ and then stay off.

For some reason the Cpu does not latch the mains in to run the cooling parts.

Any ideas what the problem is pleaase.
