ParticipantOk cheers. Can I get the part on UKWG?

ParticipantHi Dave
I found this which looks like the same module. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hotpoint-neff-bosch-Siemens-Module-Unit-C00211305-1801874-/233992437200?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286BrianT
ParticipantOk good point. Leading up to this, we had numerous instances of it not draining, sometimes flooding the base, and on the Quick cycle (which we used most) it stopped working, so we had to use the longer Eco cycle, which was ok until this latest conk-out when it packed in completely.
I’ve checked all the wires and connectors visually and there’s no damage or burning other than what’s in the timer.BrianT

ParticipantRight. I finally got around to this, after several weeks of hand-washing. I couldn’t find a video or guide for disassembly of this exact model but I gleaned enough to take the door apart and almost lose my fingertips when the hinges were released and they sprang back!
No damage done though.
anyway I got the timer unit out and as you suggested, it’s fallen over.
I’m going to look for a replacement timer so would welcome any suggestions as to where to get one. Fitting it is easy. Getting the door hinge mechanism back together might be the hard part!BrianT
ParticipantBlimey that took some finding. Anyway the ENR number is SGS45E02GB/45.

ParticipantOk I’ll have another look around it for another number. It’s plugged in securely and the fuse is good.

OK I’ll give it a go later.

How odd. I thought I’d leave it in the ‘slight hum’ phase. It hummed for a few minutes then the detergent door flipped open, which would normally release the tablet. Nothing else happened – it just carried on humming. The elements are cold.
Oops, spoke to soon, no, they are now red hot. Switched it off and doused them with water. 😯

Cheers. Well I took the bottom plate off and disconnected the hoses, poked and peered into the pump impeller housing for the drain pump. Found a plastic label stuck across the drain slots in the bottom of the drain sump, that was all.
The pumps turn OK (by hand) and there’s no burnt electrical smell. I have no idea how to test them electrically (although I have a multimeter) so I guess I’ll just reconnect everything and try it. 😕
Anything I should look for while I have the base off?
Update: It drains OK at the start, but there’s a funny rumble first. But anyway, it drains OK (I checked) then fills, then cuts out once it’s partly full. No flashing lights, just a sudden stop before the water has even covered the elements. No noise but a slight hum. If I reset it, it will go through the same stages but stops at the same point.

If it helps any, the pump seems to run, because I can hear water goung down the drain, although it sounds a bit of a trickle. The (I presume) fill stage comes then (a hissing sound, sort of), but then there’s a slight clunk and it stops, and there’s nothing but a slight hum, and the LH of the 4 LEDs on. This was using the second setting on the dial, our usual cycle.
If I reset and Turn it all the way round to the fourt setting, which I think is just rinse or 25 minute wash (not sure cos all the symbols have worn off), it does the above, but the third LED stays lit, not the left hand one.
Oh and it had a load of coffee grounds in it.

ParticipantRe: Indesit D41 stuck at start of cycle
Cheers, spot on. I actually found an old thread about the same problem and sorted it earlier. Phew! Bad time to lose the dishwasher, cos I know who’d be at the sink on Sunday!

Cheers gents. That’s helpful. At least I know it’s not a malfunction as such. Beery christmas!
