    Bryan, the original fault was that the fridge and freezer just stopped one day without warning.

    Thanks kheath,

    I did see a white plastic box when I had the back off the fridge but it had some other components fixed to it and it looked a bit tricky to remove.

    Are there any tricks of the trade (as I am a novice !) ?
