Well, fitted this one, this weekend:

although not from this supplier.Although it is supposedly not for this oven, it looked remarkably similar to the broken one that I removed (apart from not being broken, that is). All seems OK at the moment.

Am I correct in thinking that the hinge is separate from the spring?
Got a Part Number for the spring?

OK, I think I have found one on Amazon (amongst the books and CD’s??). Also one is quoted here:
<a href="http://www.mytub.co.uk/product_information.php?product=372830
” target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow”>http://www.mytub.co.uk/product_information.php?product=372830It talks about Indesit, but the part number and description appear to be remarkably similar.
Anyone want one as a template? Is the LH obsolete because it is always breaking (design flaw) and they have run out?

Thanks of the quick response. Yes, must be the grill/second oven(?) door. Mum complains that it is flopping down and won’t stay up.
Thanks for the part number and model number information too.
Yes, the left hand spring might be obsolete, but it is still needed to keep the door up.
Any idea how I can get one? Even getting one manufactured might be cheaper than getting a new oven!!
