Changing the main pcb was very straightforward thankfully. BUT its made absolutely no difference to the problem. The motor simply isn’t getting the message to turn off when the fridge freezer temperature has dropped optimally. It just keeps on going. I’d be grateful for any further thoughts on this. Is this a thermistor problem? If so where are they located on this Beco please? We did try simply turning off completely for 48 hours first, but no help from that. Many thanks once again.

Thanks guys: actually neither seems to be too bad, but having taken the panel off the door I found that the cables from the body of the machine up to the door switch etc had been put on the stretch and a plastic fitting broken. Pushing the door lock connector firmly into place has failed to cure the problem, so I’m expecting a new lock in the post in the morning, but if that’s not the answer I’ll have to get the machine right out to check the other end of the cables. Very many thanks. I am now using the machine with a broom handle firmly jamming the door shut.

Many thanks. I’m ordering a new NTC right now! But I’m not sure what a ‘system fault’ is!!
