If Customer service is of any concern to you ignore Hotpoint, (and indesit as they too are part of hotpoint). Purchased Hotpoint fridge freezer arrived with one damaged part the retailer wanted me to contact Hotpoint direct for exchange. Hotpoint do not answer their phones nor e-mails. Eventually with great difficulty the manufacturer got through to them and arranged the replacement part. Will take five to ten days to arrive. We haven’t even switched the fridge on. It was delivered 31st July 08. Another problem was noticed, again same problem getting beyond hotpoints automated service. They are iimpossible. I am only sorry that I also purchased a Hotpoint washing machine too. Haven’t unwrapped that yet but goodness what challenges will there be there?
Buy Zannusii, Bosch, or Neff great customer service especially Zanussi.
