Hi,

following on from what I have read. My fan has jammed (blocked with ice) and suspect burnt out the motor as it now does not work and was preceded by a grinding noise. I want to prevent rather than temp cure. What has caused the ice build up? I don’t want to replace just the motor then find the same problem occurs later on. Do I need a defrost sensor?

Also do you know whether the fan motor is the same as the one at the rear of the unit?

Any help would be great
