ParticipantRe: Ignis AWP046 timer problem
Thank you odom for your help. Luckily I have managed to solve the problem without resorting to having to call out an engineer or having to buy a new timer.
For the record this is what I did:
First of all I blew into the pipe leading to the pressostat and I could clearly hear it click. I then took the pressostat apart to check the switch and found it to be clean and in working order.
Second I disconnected the timer, removed it from the machine and took it apart. I gave it a thorough check for burnt tracks and connections but again it was fine. Reassembled the machine and hey presto it works properly.
I can only think that either the pressostat had stuck and I accidently freed it up or the timer has been reset due to being fully disconnected. I had originally turned the power off to the machine to try and reset it but that had not worked.

Thank you for replying. This machine doesn’t have any lights at all.
Additional info: I have been researching this problem tonight online and am now thinking I should check the pressostat but am unsure how to proceed.
I’m hoping that it is not the timer as I cannot find the part number and Ignis/Whirlpool are selling them at more than the cost of a new machine 🙁
