Re: LSI 61 Ariston doesn’t complete wash cycles

    Some progress!

When the solenoid for the powder door is disconnected the dishwasher completes the cycle correctly.

When the solenoid is connected it energises and opens the power door. It then remains energised for 1-2 seconds before the cycle trips out and the washer stops.

All the mechanism appears free and correct.

Do the coils in the solenoids tend to breakdown and the washers trip on an over current?

Can you purchase the solenoid coil as a spare part?

    Many thanks

    Chris.

    Hi,

Many thanks for the prompt reply.

I can confirm it has the L shaped heater element.

I have run the washer a couple more times and have noticed although the water is not extremely hot the water and the plates etc in the washer are warm.

What we have noticed is that the machine seems to stop every time the washer commands the powder door to open (even if we leave it open you hear a click and the machine stops).

Is this something the diagnostic runs could detect? Could you tell me how to run them?

Currently when the washer stops all 4 LEDs are out on the panel as described in my fist post.

Thanks again for your help and advise.

    Chris.
