Okay – checked power supply – all intact. Took the cover off the oven and found a component on the control board had failed – pictures linked:

[USER=”4209″]electrofix[/USER] thanks for the reply Dave. No there is still apparently no power to the appliance and it has fully cooled (it went off around 40 hours ago now)

OK thanks Dave.
I’ve just done a continuity test on the two heater connectors and it failed. Am I right in assuming that the heating element is blown? (Neither are currently continuous with the earth either which I guess is good).
