I will check that again. I inspected it as much as possible. I had trouble getting the front bottom cover off as it’s a torx. I think I have found a torx bit so I’ll take one last look at that loom

Thanks for all your help Dave.

might look at a new machine. Haven’t really got the budget for one, but I might be throwing good money after bad to keep changing parts blindly. … and don’t fancy looking up dishwashers really. My wife likes the new beko racking system, but can’t find it anywhere so it’s probably the price of gold.

its frustrating not to be able to solve it!

    thanks again.

The original heater failed continuity on one of the thermostats.

Yeah, I checked and rechecked the new one, it passes all continuity tests and is wired in properly.

The wires that go under the door are in a plastic conduit. As they pass under the door, the condui appears to go behind the plastic trim at the base of the door. Ive not yet figured out how to get that trim off – is that were the wires might be broken? Or somewhere that is accessible via the rear/ bottom metal panel that was removed to changed the heater?

We first noticed the original problem as the contents came out greasy after a completed cycle.
Since changing the heater, I have not let the washer complete a full cycle. I have put the washer on 60c and 70c and let it run for around 15-20 minutes. Each timr ive canceled the cycle as i expected it to have some heat by that point. – shuold i let it complete a cycle?

    Thanks for your patience.

    Hi Dave.

    It all looks okay.

Tried to upload pics but it says not enough space. Pics are usually small enough when taken on iPad, but it’s not working

    Hi Dave

    thanks for the reply

I took the door inner off to expose the wiring and the board at the top of the door.
I couldnt see anything obvious. No loose or broken wires, no discolouration.
