    EEK! £100 for the timer unit… Is there any chance that it is something else, £100 is alot if it doesnt work afterward replacing

    i cant find the model no on the front/doors – the instruction book cover the “ZHF865 W/B/X”

    WRT the top element – it looks like the wrong one was fitted. The clips dont fit in the holes in the side (2″ out) and there is no screw in the top. Too right its a safety issue – the missus has burnt her hand a couple of time. And its my safety if it doesnt get fixed asap!!! 😉

    parts arrived really quick! BUT…

    Fitted the new heater element and it sticks out about 7mm further than the old one 😯 This means i cant screw the cover back on as it is touching. Also appears to be about 5mm wider than the old one too…

    The invoice says “ELE14106” and its def a EOB944W1 Electrolux.. Any advise before i call in the morning… 😕

    OUCH!!! Add postage, fitting etc – looks like we might was well get a new machine a its 7 or 8 years old…

    rug didnt disintegrate – filter was abit mucky but nothing to worry about

    Think the model is 9***70022 ?? Will check when i get home
