If you can also chase up hotpoint on the OS897DPIX oven and see when they should be coming available as this missus is waiting to order one…

Also whats the best for the self cleaning easy clean systems.. as theres so many im a little confused…
Oxylytic cleaning…
Catalytic cleaning…
Pyrolytic cleaning…
The Pyrolytic ones always seem to be more expensive, and from what ive read means they superheat and burn any residues off??

I liked one of the Neff range, which had a very nifty fold away door that sort of slid underneath itself, quite smart really… but like with all the Neff models i saw, i didnt like the buttons to be brutely honest. I much prefer the Bosch’s plain round pop out buttons not the Neffs long thin pop out version.
I had an email this morning from hotpoint regarding the openspace, and it appears magnet have them to view, but the nearest one from me is like 70miles away… so i might have to go see just for the sake of it… but im quite fancying a bosch really… we have a bosch dishwasher, fridge and freezer so know them to be fairly decent… although the gas hob is AEG 😳 (it was a pure looks thing… and being a hob theres not much to break down so surely AEG cant be too bad for that 😆 )
I will wander down to currys or comet which are local, and keep looking and fiddling with the Neff to see if i can warm towards the weird buttons, but if i cant, and end up going bosch, is there any models to avoid or that are exceptionally good??
Bosch list a 65 litre oven as well, but is has what they class as a pull out carriage door, but apart from a tiny picture in the catalogue i cant really understand how it works? It looks like a filing cabinet front, but how do you get to lower shelfs?? Weird… the Classix HBA63A250B stills looks to be the most likely candidate for now.

From reading on the site, it appears bosch or neff are the most commonly recommended manufacturers, so might need to concentrate looking there…
