    Once more thank you for all your replies, you’ve scared me off , I’m not touching it, 🙂 got enough to do (house is being renovated). If it’s £50 for the part, it’ll be the same again for labour. I think I shall advise her to get a new washer, but something a little better this time!

    Thanks for the prompt replies so far.

    The only reference number I could find was on the back and reads W103(UK). I’ll pop round tomorrow and have another look.

    Knowing my mother I very much doubt she’s kept the instruction manual :(.
