Great! Thanks Jim. I now see it and a link back to a similar question which I hadn’t seen before on this site.
The big questions now are:
1. In your humble opinions, is it worth spending £100 or so to fix a machine that will be, at best, second hand in working order?
2. There are clearly problems with this motor so will I be faced with a similar crisis in months to come?
I personally baulk at the idea of dumping an otherwise perfectly good machine and spending another £250 minimum on another big white box, but that is surely the aim of companies who appear to build in these problems.
