    Thanks for the advice the door refitted quite easily once I knew how! However it still won’t stay shut completely so it doesn’t form a seal and hence doesn’t keep as much heat in as it should. When I first refitted the door it was only a matter of a couple of mm now the door is visibly not closing properly. It will move to the closed postiton when held but falls back to partially open when pressure is released. I presume that something has been over sprung when the door was forced downward too strongly? Is there anything I can do or is this now an engineer job?

    it’s a built in oven and the model number is akz106/ix and it’s about 4 years old. there appears to be 2 bits of hinge sticking out of either side of the door and nothing left in the two remaining holes in the oven. The two pieces attached to the door appear unmovable.
