Hi. We were getting the same problem – F11 coming up 10 or more times during one wash! Checked the filter and the drum outlet but all were clear. As the machine is probably 10 years old I thought its time had come. I finally decided to look at the end of the drain hose where it connects to the sink waste. First I undid the trap (U bend) on the sink to see if it was full of sludge but that was okay. Next I inspected the nozzle on the sink waste where the w/m drain hose connects. Okay again. Finally I shone a torch into the end of the drain hose and, lo and behold, a piece of plastic picture craft kit nicely wedged at an angle, backed up by a plastic label and closely followed by a lot of grey goo! The debris had lodged against the end of the nozzle on the sink waste which forms a neat little 1mm ledge all round.

Very carefully, with the aid of a cheese knife (a crochet hook would have been better) I managed to remove the obstruction without pushing it further down the hose and, holding the end of the hose over a bucket, ran a rinse cycle. Cough, splutter and more grey goo then a full stream of clear water!

Put everything back together and the machine has run perfectly ever since. No more F11 (which had become an expletive in our house) faster wash; better rinse and drier spin have all resulted. Two weeks on and still basking in the satisfaction………..

    Good luck.

    J
