Hi Jim,
Fitted the new drain pump but no joy. Still hum – click and no error lights – does not drain at the start.
At a loss as to what to do but ring Indesit.

Thanks Jim,
I might ring Indesit and see if I am covered. As it does not drain when switched on I guess it might still be the drain pump as opposed to the circulation pump.
I can’t seem to find the right drain pump to purchase that looks the same, any idea where I would get one from – the ones on UK Whitegoods for example look different and don’t have this model listed.
Thanks again,
Tim

Jim,
I’ve had the pump out and although I have not tested it electrically there was no blockage. Has sounded a bit rough recently though.
Still getting the hum – click but no error lights, however the machine still just fills and then hangs (when the water had been bailed out), humming and clicking.
I should perhaps have mentioned that I had recently replenished the salt before it started playing up – don’t know whether this is relevant.
Thanks for the last reply,
Tim

Jim,
Sorry about the confusion.
If the machine is empty (i.e. if I turn it over and the water comes out) when the program is set again the ‘hum – click’ starts, the machine fills but after that the machine stops.
If the machine has water in it all I get is the hum and click and no action.
The usual draining sound before filling does not take place in either case.
The left two LEDS were lit when the machine first malfunctioned but now the hum – click just continues without the error lights coming on.
Hope this is a little better in terms of clarity…
Thanks for the reply,
Tim
