‘it sound like all you have is an indicator light problem’
possible, i havent fully tested the new element due to lack of time, it heated up.
tomorrow ill crank it up to see if it the temperature is controlled.
the ring indicator light does flash as if though a loose connection but it still operates as normal. there is also a switch on the oven door and the door catch is getting rather ‘loose’.

ive finally got round to replacing the heating assembly with thermostats included, this is the part given to me,

with the failed one being 2970100200 replaced by beko with 2970100900.had a good look around inside puzzled as to why condensation and fluff are free to rise and make contact with the heating element from the blower?
realised the ‘jockey belt’ is cracked and ready to give, after 2 years?

i dont think the thermostats are replaceable, they come fitted with the heater element unit.
ive contacted beko and they have suggested that their out of warranty repair team will be ‘happy to be of assistance’ !
after the fire hazard recall and number of heating elements that seem to go pop on these i thought they would be more helpful.

for anyones interest i dug deeper into the pipe that leads from the drum to the filter and it had two of my little lads socks in there, so sorted thanks to pointers i read from this site!
im off to punish him right now!

UPDATE
ive took the cover on the filter off whilst it drains and the impeller does turn, something i didnt mention was that whilst on the drain function i can open the door which it shouldnt allow me and that i cant whilst it does another cycle.
im now gonna check for blockage again on the pipe from the drum to the pump filter housing.
