The machine does not have thermostat. It uses ntc or “thermistor” electronic temperature control. A thermistor is a variable resistance device – the hotter it gets, the lower the resistance. The pcb reads the resistance to decide the temperature. The sensor is attached to the lower front underside of the tub. I have never changed one, although I have occasionally had to repair the wiring to them. The front panel can be removed for access.
Heating element is at the lower tub rear – back panel off for access.
Power off at all times, please.

The glass has always been hot to touch when meant to be.
Where is the element on these machine? Is it easily accessible? Ta.cristalliera

No m8 you are right i can not be sure! Can you direct me on the right track please? The washing machine works ok apart from the fact that it does not heat up the water anymore. Thanks.
