Yes the roof jet seems clear. I have water to both upper and lower spray arms. I’ve followed your advice and run a more intensive programme and adjusted the water hardness level. This has given a more acceptable result, ( probably at the cost of more electricity and salt but cheaper than a callout which might not solve anything. ) so I think I’ll leave it at that. I’m in the West Midlands so yes, the water is hard. I do use salt and when I bought the machine I contacted Severn Trent water and obtained figures for the water hardness and adjusted the machine settings accordingly. The problem has only arisen in the last 12 months or so. I do try and rinse coffee cups etc before washing so that the residue is not dry. My next move is to reduce the number of items in the machine at any one time in case I’m overloading it…. But to be fair I’m not doing anything differently to when the machine was new and working well.

I used to use a shorter programme but for last 6 months I have been using the Auto Daily programme which is supposed to take around 150 minutes.. it usually takes a fair bit less ( fuzzy logic)

Thanks for your reply. I can confirm that both spray arms rotate freely. I have also checked the waste water pump and found it to be clean and not blocked with any debris.
