WOW , it’s like it’s brand new again lol. I even stripped down the spinning brush head attatchement and it works again after years. I won’t be using that one too often tho , it’s a bit of a ripper on the carpet I think.

Hi , yes washed the yellow tray as well.
Was trying to get the cyclone apart ( its old so not worried about any warranty stuff ) , removed the screw under the handle and there are 2 obvious plastic clips holding it . Before I go bustin them :0) , whats the procedure to undo these , just push in and down?
EDIT: On closer inspection these clips would appear to be screws , question is how to get to them? :0)
I want to strip it down and completely wash the inside , is this possible?
Oh and why did you change the site? , this well laggy :0)
Cheers

Hi guys thanx for the replies .
To be honest I’m pretty sure it’s all clear , I’ll do it a again tho’ to check it all.
I had it open down to the motor yesterday to fiddle with the switch ( it’s worn ) I glued a piece of old credit card on top of it , jobs a good un 😀
Had it going while it was in bits and was fine But once I sat the filter and the case it sits in on it , the flap noise happened again. Is ther some sort of safety valve inside the motor casing?
I’ll wash the filter again and try that ( is there a shelf life for the sponge bit ? )
Job for today then :0)

Just spoke to ‘er indoors and now tells me something got caught / twisted in the door seal , so sounds like this may have cause a jolt and knocked off the belt.

thanx for theresponse petalpop.
Sorted it now i think , decided to get of my backside and pull it out and have look – It’s been a long cold day on site and I didn’t fancy it about an hour ago :0).
Anyways took lid off and saw belt was missing but on retreival noticed it was still intact so it must have just come off ? . Then realised it has a handy back panel which I removed and put it back on , now running it at a slow 600 spin to see what happens , hopefully it will stay on.
Cheers

Hi guys ,
Ta for the advice , finally got round to putting it on today. Bit of a struggle but got there in the end by a little bit of persuasion with my gorrila bar and loosening the screws a little that hold down the motor.Sorted.
Cheers
