OK OK no more questions. I appreciate what you’ve said.
I think I will scrape around for the extra Bosch dosh given all your comments. Worth it if it means less bother in the future.
Happy New Year and enjoy your Bosch commision cheques arriving soon no doubt…

Hi again,
Thanks for all your comments. I see that even the hint of Bosch criticism gets quickly rebuffed! I am sure they are great machines it’s just that they are a little out of my price range. There is one available at the moment which is inexpensive but it has only 2 spin speeds (600 and 1200) and only a 5kg wet 2.5kg dry capacity. Just seemed a bit small and a bit too basic. No other features at all. But maybe I should go for this (they are typically around only £399) after all what other speeds do I really need and as I live on my own I could probably cope with this drum size…. Otherwise I am leaning towards a Zanussi 1471, 6kg/5kg 1400 spin which is around £400 too. Or… John Lewis have their own make (Electrolux/Zanussi again I know) for £499 with a 3 year free guarantee or they do an AEG for £499 with the same specs more or less and 2 year guarantee.
Looking round the internet the only customer reviews I could see for LG involved discussions of awful customer service which is a shame as I thought it looked like a great machine.
Any more thoughts would be welcome on this matter, basically would you tend to recommend a bottom of the range Bosch against a half decent £400-£420 Zanussi? Thanks again, I really appreciate your comments.
Dan.
