So for those interested, the heating element wasn’t even connected. In fact it still had protective plastic on it.
Bad form!

Yeah, the rinse or the spin work fine and complete in 8min or whatever it needs to be. Can the heater terminals be checked easily or am I sitting in for an engineer?

Just as the other one was, right into the dedicated drain. It drains instantly when you knock it into the drain programme.

Oh dear, apparently the WVD24460GB isn’t an Advantix, it’s a Classix

Oh dear, So I am not having a lot of luck ordering that model! Nowhere has stock.
So, now I am looking at the following models:
Bosch AvantiXX WVD24460GB
Bosch WAQ243D0GB VarioPerfect…now these two dont fall into the ranges of Bosch as described earlier, so I would appreciate any advice as to whether these are decent quality or the cheaper models.
Also, as a bit of a curve ball, I am considering a Samsung:
– Samsung WD1704RJE2
… Are these any good?
All the best,

Also, any idea why the WVD24520GB doesn’t show up on Bosch’s website? Bit concerned I cant preemtively download a service or user manual.

Great, thanks. It looks like the Bosch WVD24520GB is an Excell – does that mean it should be significantly better quality than my old Indesit?
