ParticipantOK, am closing this request. I did not originally appreciate how rubbish family life is without a working fridge.
I am skipping the diagnostics on my 12 year old fridge freezer and just going to get a new one. The old one will be recycled as I don’t have space to keep it around. Hence, please do not put in any effort to respond to this request as I will not be able to test anything (though I am interested in general in what might have gone wrong). Thanks.DanielTanner
ParticipantEh five years late but bazza500 was spot on. The cycle was not finished (someone opened during washing and interrupted the cycle). Just close the door again and let it complete. Also long hold on the power button may be helpful if it is still not working.

ParticipantThanks Dave and Phil,
I contacted help and they responded really quickly. I ordered the part (https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/g98270as-compatible-aquastop-fill-hose) and installed it this morning, the dishwasher is now back in action.
In case it is useful for others this is the connection I measured on the broken inlet hose – infinite resistance implies the solenoid is broken: https://imgur.com/a/bALhYeGNovember 12, 2021 at 12:45 pm in reply to: Electrolux ESL6211LO Dishwasher Single beep issue #470844DanielTanner
ParticipantAll,
I am having the same trouble with my ESL6211LO.I get infinite resistance between the contacts across on the valve embedded in the Aquablock hose, as it enters the appliance (see image link). I need to order a new one but did not find one listed that shows compatibility with my appliance. Anyone know which one do I need?

Scs17,
Can you see the images I have attached to my post above? There are two showing both the pressure switch in situ as well as removed.
This part is not difficult to remove, if you are struggling then you may be looking at the wrong part. To remove it note that:
+ On one end is a push fit fluidic connector that the inside of the dishwasher feeds into. Disconnect this first to make the electrical connector more visible
+ On the other end is an electrical connector. This connector has a small tab that needs to be lifted/deflected while you pull the electrical connector to allow it to be removed.
+ Remove the switch and inspect/rinse and reinstall. Hopefully this will work.Let me know if this works for you.

ParticipantRe: Electrolux ESL6211LO – Error
All,
Just wanted to provide a very belated reply to this. The problem was solved based on the initial responses I had. It was the pressure switch and having changed it the dishwasher has been running brilliantly for the past couple of months.
I replaced the pressure switch but found that when I removed the old one was full of thick grease, so it may have worked if I just cleaned it (I really had an impressive plug of grease pop out when I turned it upside down).
Many thanks for all the responses and for helping me quickly and cheaply resolve this without needing to buy a new washer!
Thanks.
P.S. for those interested the pressure switch is shown below. The image is taken from the front of the dishwasher with the kickplate off and switch is circled in red:
For clarity the disconnected switch is also shown circled here:

ParticipantRe: Electrolux ESL6211LO – Error
OK this looks like the correct part on the Electrolux website:
“Dishwasher Pressure Sensor Kit
Part number: 4055346060
This part replaces the following Part Numbers: 1174954006, 1174960003, … more ›
£26.00 IN STOCK
If the pressure sensor inside your dishwasher is defective and causing your appliance to overfill, this complete replacement pressure sensor kit may be just what you need to give your appliance a new lease of life.”Is this ok or would you recommend another spares supplier? Also I am happy to have a go at fixing this, though if you have any instructions they would be appreciated (i.e., any links to someone that describes doing this).
Thanks!
