just found your ‘drain the tray’ post after 4wk of fretting.
Worked first time. Thanks mate :D:D:D

Turned out to be the inlet pipe to the salt pot. Jubilee clip slid down and water filling the drip tray, should some poor unfortunate have to go through this again 🙂

Was there a successful conclusion to this I wonder ?

We have the same model and problem, however it used to be got around by holding the start button down whilst beeping for a few seconds so the thing resets itself.
But a few days ago it stuck itself on the rinse cycle and now refuses to do anything else except beep in 1 second intervals, even after switching off and on at the mains.

Not afraid to change any suspect parts. But any pointers as to the likley
culprit would be most welcome as I understand it could be one of several things
