Thanks very much for this. I did wonder whether Hotpoint shared the same electronics as Indesit. So sounds like a nightmare to troubleshoot then without some specialist knowledge or diagnostic tools.

Sounds like a call to Hotpoint, although I might do a visual check myself on wiring, boards and connecters if I can access them reasonably easily. I’ll try to post an update later if there’s any more knowledge on this to share. 😳
