Re: AEG L61271WDBI Washer Dryer Unresponsive

I have managed to test the mains filter and it shows 240v (so much for a £16 fix). I’ve also managed to test a few spots on the main PCB, which are showing ~50v, one of which looks as though it might be some sort of diagnostic port. If the main PCB is receiving power, but not showing any lights, would it be safe to assume it is broken?

Something that confuses me, a little, is the PCB for the dryer side of the machine. If this were to break, would it stop power from reaching the main PCB? And, i guess, by replacing the main PCB, there’s no guarantee that the dryer PCB wasn’t taken with it?

    Thanks,
    Dave.

    Thanks.

I’ll hold off until i’m able to test the mains filter. I’d much rather not have to spend money on a PCB!
