Re: Hotpoint TCD 8336P/Z1 leaking from the back

Managed to fix by removing back panels and pump covers, taking out the pump and cleaning out the internals. Seems the inlet to the pump reservoir was blocked.
Thanks for the replies and help.

Looks like Hotpoint is owned by Whirlpool so maybe just different branding between countries? Anyway, does anyone know if the condenser can be removed….?

Link to instruction manual showing the detail here. I can’t even upload a screen shot as it’s bigger than 200k…

Re: Hotpoint TCD 8336P/Z1 leaking from the back

    Hi,
I can’t get the photo small enough to upload… The front is similar but when I drop the hatch, I have 4 clips which then removes a short filter unit which can be cleaned. The condenser itself is behind the frame of the machine and looks like I’d need to remove the front panel and door to get it out….

Thanks for the quick reply! I’ll look into the recall. How do you remove the condenser unit though? I have taken out the filter covering the front under the door but can’t see how to get the condenser out…
