Re: Hoover WB120 001 hot water temp
Thanks for taking the time to respond.
I take the point regarding different water temps at various stages of the cycle and have taken temperature readings of the water at each fill stage.
At no time does the temperature get anywhere near 40 degrees at any stage of the cycle. The hot fill seems to be going in OK but its totally swamped by the amount of cold water going in.
You are right of course the cold mains pressure is far in excess of the gravity fed hot water but I would have thought the machine would be able to reduce or stop the cold fill in order to achieve the desired temp.
Could it be that the cold inlet solenoid has failed and is not shutting off? There are three, two for the cold and one for the hot. As I’ve stated before they all seem to be around the same value resistance wise so I’m supposing they are all ok.
Is there anything else I could check before calling an engineer in?
Best regards
