I first posted on this thread in july 2009.
And have had no problems till today when the beeping started again the lights are flashing 4 times,so i did as i was told before and cleaned the black grid with toothbrush and hot water,but it still beeping?
Is there anything i could do myself to save costs,can the black grid be removed for further investigation,if you can talk me through i will have a try,i will put the power off first! does it mean a new part here,or can the grid be cleaned better by removing.
please advise,you were an amsaing help to me last time,and i have been looking after the dishwasher,cleaning the plates before putting them in.
can anyone please make my day better with some good advice.

I do on the whole clean a lot off the crockery before loading,i guess its a just a build up.

Yes i found the black thing,it seemed to have a lot of white grease on it,i gave it a good clean hot water and toothbrush,and put it on and it ran its cycle,and yaaaaaaaaaaaaay no beeps.hope it wasent a one off,but will keep you informed,if thats done it,i cant thank you enough .

Penguin,a reply im so happy.
Machine is draining the water,so am going to try cleaning the filters again,and will report back,this part that i may need,is it possible for us to put in ourselves,as cost at this stage is of major importance.

also is it odd that it went through the cycle the other night and isent again now.

Hi,
I was delighted to say my dishwasher went through its cycle last night to the end,with just the normal finished beep.
Now have just put it on again this evening,and its beeping 4 times and light is back on pre rinse light.
any further tips,id be very grateful

Dont seem to have a black thing,i have what looks like a sink plug hole,ive removed that and cleaned it,also removed the mesh and cleaned it.
there was water at the bottom in the plastic area,but no water in the dishwasher,and the crockery was clean,and warm??????????

After reading other posts wondered about the error code.
so have looked this evening and its doing one beep but the light is flashing 4 times,has anybody any ideas please.
also is this something we could do ourselves or will we need to get someone out
