Update – Worked out how to pull the oven from the surround unit and remove the front panel, which was far easier than I thought.

Turns out the ‘spring’ part of the buttons is a rubber strip and that had worked loose. Reason being the assembly is not snapping in place any more at the bottom. Have worked out a way of holding it in place and got the rubber but back and now it’s good again. Or good enough.

Even from new the buttons were a but cheap feeling. It’s a bit rubbish quality really, but then that’s the way of things these days.
