I got the on-off switch removed. One of the white plastic surrounds on one of the blue neutral wires seems to have melted and broke off when I pulled the wire off the switch. Is this white plastic block on the contact required or can I do without it? I could simply push the remaining bit of plastic block over the end of the contact, and I guess this would be OK.

I’m going to order up a new switch ayway.

Looking at the door seal this appears to be tricky to replace (not much space). Is this an easy item to replace, and if so could you give me step by step instructions.

I think I’ll buy the bits, but can you let me know how do I get to access to the on-off switch – do I need to remove the front plastic panel which has the progam selection buttons and timer?
