Weird …I have the same model and the exact same fault.

Have now purchased a replacement but would be interested to find out possible causes for this fault.

Thanks for the prices , I have had a look myself and the PCB with the controler attached is well blown, adding up the cost of the bits and postage it would seem my father is going to maybe buy another machine which is a shame as this one is in really good condition, has had a new set of bearings fitted not long ago when the engineer reckoned a rattle was coming from them when in fact it was the door button cable hitting the casing when on spin.

Hi Penguin thanks for the reply.. I have just had my dad on the phone and he has confirmed that the PCB at the programme selection switch would seem to be blown, So what do you reckon would be required to put it right ie partsprices

The door lock cable goes to the small PCB directly behind the onoff switch, will this be damaged also?
