    Thanks for the info.
    Can you tell me if the vanes on the pump should rotate all the way round?
    I can’t quite fully reach with my fingers but using a pencil there is definite resistance when I turn to a certain point. I don’t want to try to turn harder if that is what is supposed to happen.

    I am having a similar problem, although not intermittent.
    F3 on a towel load. Some rattling noise on draining attempt.
    Drained manually and found a few small coins behind filter, almost certainly from the previous load.
    Pump vanes move reasonably freely – but won’t do a complete revolution (is this a problem – not clear from user manual?).
    Machine drains to open standpipe.
    Outlet hose has no visible blockage (could a 1p or 5p be stuck part way down? How could it get past the filter).
    Did a spin which got to ‘End’ but door didn’t open.
    Did a rinse and got F3.
