Re: Beko TZDA627 Frost free Tall Freezer

Right then, freezer has been off for over 4 days with the door open. When powered up the compressor runs and gets warm and the fan inside runs, but it doesn’t get any colder than the ambient temp, even after leaving it running for over 2 hrs.
Is it worth me getting someone out to look at it bearing in mind it’s 8 years old, or do I just buy a new one?
    All thoughts welcome.

Merry Christmas to you all. DickyB 😀

Thanks Seamy and Eldar both for this advice. I had left it off with door open for 24 hrs and tried a restart, but still no joy.
When it did restart the 2 digit display read 51, is this an error code? Also when I pushed the fast freeze button to see if this gave any more information on the display, the 51 went and then it changed to Cr then to dE when I pushed the fast freeze button.
If anyone can give some insight into these codes this could be great. I’ll try leaving it off for 48 hours with the door open now and see if this solves anything, as Eldar suggests.

    Cheers Dicky
