  • Just thought I’d update my original post in case it helps anyone else with similar fault.

    Having now inspected the oven I can confirm the fault was with the PCB part no 00658000 which is the control board at the top of the oven with the relays on.

    I can only assume that the oven lamps I had to replace blown bulbs were cheap rubbish ones which when used shorted causing a mains spike. It has taken out one of the relays which was causing the bottom oven lamp not to power up. There is burnt tracking around the relay and the side of the relay was black with soot.

    Additionally, a 220 ohm resistor next to the sounder buzzer device has gone open circuit. I haven’t tested the sounder buzzer device but that may also be faulty as it is barely audible, but this may be due to the open circuit resistor next to it.

    Rather than mess around changing surface mount components which are virtually impossible to repair successfully, I have ordered a new board which is around £150.
