    Re: smeg dwi 710e1

the programme times are too long does not seem to be switching the heater on for long enough, after about 5 mins into programme makes click sound 2 bleeps and continues then repeats this every2 mins approx,no visible fault led indications. pcb repairer said I may need to send card back for reset as I should have cured fault before refitting.
Repairer said engineer would know fault for led 2 stuck on? Heater only on for couple of seconds every 2 mins.

    Cheers,

Re: smeg dishwasher (dwi 710 E1model) faulty!

    Hi,
On b10 programme machine sounds like its circulating/pumping ok, after about 20 mins stops circulating/washing and makes two short beep sounds and then at the same time stars washing again, opened door the only light on is the one for the programme I selected. Just before the machine stops each time one click then another click can be heard shortly after machine stops circulating/washing makes two bleeps and then carries on and repeats about every 35 seconds .Could it be a faulty power/heater relay on circuit board? More info, water reached about 26 C
after about 2 hrs and is still running now! 29C after 3 hrs programme still running!

    Help!!!!! any ideas anybody?

Re: smeg dishwasher (dwi 710 E1model) faulty!

    Hi,
Tried resetting but this did not cure fault.
The machine drains at the beginning of the cycle which is probably normal, it fills and sounds like it is working normally but after a while say 5 mins stops washing makes a short bleep noise then continues it will do this for ages and note the water is not being heated. I have checked for voltage at the element and is only present momentarily on each cycle. Heating element resistance / continuity ok , base thermostat ok and I think the door ntc temperature sensor also ok

    Help!
