    Going down the route of buying another extractor ! That seems cheaper

    Yes seems to turn freely, dont think motor is the issue?

    We couldnt take out the switch panel.

    Also, is this a brush or brushless motor from the picture above ?? We don’t know the difference.

    Tried giving it a go as per suggestions here. Is this burnt out ?? Does that mean motor has to be replaced ??

    Thank you so much for all your help & feedback. Much appreciated. Feel like I should ask for my money back from the local firm as they haven’t even diagnosed the issue correctly (brush motor). I think it might be cheaper to buy another one considering the labour & motor replacement costs !

    Just to update, even the 3rd setting has given up now !
