The trigger switch inside the float happily clicks away when depressed, but I appreciate this doesn’t count for anything.
I’ve ordered a new one from Miele. Fingers crossed…

Just out of interest, Dave, what would be the next component to check if the same symptoms persist after this part is replaced??
