Thank you for the info but I think I will be calling an engineer. Can’t even get the black hose back on properly…..I may take up a new career in appliance engineering – though I have managed to break two nails so maybe not!!!

Hi, havve the same problems as above – have checked the filter at the front, nothing there and check the spinning thing – no problems ther. Have taken off the big black hose with the ball and stopper and now cannot get it all back together.

First question – was the pump expnsive
Second – was it easy to fit
and thirdly – know any good washing machine repairers? Derby area.
