    There is an extra rinse button,but they don’t use it. So its off to that appliance showroom in the sky.

    Thanks for your replies guys.
    I did see a extra rinse button,so I will ask the in-laws if this is on.
    If it is the power board as Penguin suggests,would it be worth fixing?
    It was a reconditioned machine,bought as a stop-gap about 4 years ago.

    Hi Odom.
    The way it was explained to me was this:
    The machine will wash,then rinse cycle then spin as per usual,however,once it has stopped if you are not quick to remove the washed clothes,it will start another rinse cycle.

    OK,Checked all the usual suspects,with no signs of burning and everything seems to be in order.Stuck it all back together,loaded….. and it seems to be working fine.
