Hi Dave, thanks for the reply. I’m pulling my hair out with this problem but I discovered something interesting today. The oven is def loosing heat via the door and maybe somewhere at the back (fan?). I used the normal oven setting (not fan assisted) tonight for over 2 hrs with no cut outs which generated loads of smoke as it hasn’t been used before. After 10mins of smoking it began to seep out from the front, both points were down by the door hinges. This may explain why the oven dials/fascia are getting so hot after long periods of use? My main question is how do I fix the loss of heat as the door hinges appear to be working fine and I replaced the door seal only a year or so ago. Q2. Should the door seal go all the round or are they designed to only cover the sides and top? Current door seal which is a genuine part only provides a seal to the sides and top of the door??? Hi, having a similar fault with the oven cutting out after about 25mins of use. The controls knobs seem to get very hot, too hot to hold. “Electrofix” mentioned that the oven may have a cooling fan? I can’t find anything on this and no spares so could the cut out be related to the thermostat TOC (thermal cut out)? Thanks in advance for any help.
