Re: Dead grill diplomat 620 oven?

can anyone shed any light on whether this is more likely down to the grill element itself or something else?
It did come back to life once before dying again, and since then it has not worked at all.
    Thanks

Re: Dead grill diplomat 620 oven?

Thanks for the reply, it’s good to know that it won’t cost a fortune. Actually I could do it myself if it is just the element, especially since it can come out from inside.

However, the plot thickens. After messing up the settings on the oven timer and not remembering how to put it back, I switched the oven off at the fusebox in order to re-set the clock.
After this, the grill mysteriously worked again! It has then worked every morning from Monday-Thursday, but this morning has once again stopped working.
I have tried switching off at the fusebox again to see if that works, but this time apparently not. Oven and hob still working fine.
Does this shed any more light on whether the problem is more likely related to the grill element itself or to the internal parts e.g. switches?

    Thanks for any help!
