The only compact condenser dryer I know of is the Zanussi TC180 which is only slim depth spec available here.

Normally condenser dryers are 60cm square. All the compact dryers I have ever seen have been vented. A typical size for a compact would be 67cm high 49cm wide and 48cm deep.

Could it be that in your last property it was on a permanent vent from the rear ?

Thanks for the reply Don. My old one was a bit of a mystery. My mum bought it in 1987 when we moved into a new house. I inherited it in 1996 when I bought my first flat. It lived in my bedroom (one bedroom flat with tiny kitchen) until last year when I left it behind. It was not vented nor did I ever have to empty a water tray??? It just worked perfectly!!!

As far as I know it is still working as I left it for the girl that bought my flat.

It was unbadged so cant even tell you what make it was.

Wish I had brought it with me as my washer/dryer is unuseable and has recked lots of my clothes. It is a brill washer as long as I don’t use it as a dryer. I may have to cave in and go for a larger model and put it in the spare room which lets face it, is pretty much a permenant laundry room anyway.

I still think there is a market for smaller condensor dryers.
