    Thanks for all your help pengin i must say this forum is well appreicated Anyway ive had enuff and smashed it to pieces with a hammer even then i couldnt find no capicitor lol, lesson to anyone whoes watching this thread never buy a kenwood american name made by currys in uk with cheap and nasty chinese parts My loss is also currys too ill never shop there again in my life

    ive had a guy come round to have a look he says theres no capacitor on this model and the motor is the smallest hes ever seen on a dishwasher he span the motor and its not seized but say he thinks its gone and want 90 quid plus fitting for a new one .Can anyone shed any ligth the machine is only 15 months old

    yes m8 thats spot on is it a hard job, or maybe where the drainage pipes where frozen outside the flood detector has kicked in and is stopping the wash motor
